Cyclists Storm Beaufort

The historic mansions and moss-draped trees of downtown Beaufort provided a picturesque backdrop Tuesday afternoon as professional cyclists stormed the streets of Beaufort Tuesday afternoon, as part of the Beaufort Memorial Cycling Classic.

The Beaufort Gazette reported several hundred onlookers.

Riders could be seen warming up around Beaufort Monday and Tuesday, prior to the race.
