Hundreds of visitors flocked to Hunting Island Oct. 17-18 to help the Friends of Hunting Island Lighthouse celebrate the 150 anniversary of the Lowcountry icon. Visitors enjoyed a calypso band, sand sculpture contest, and free entry to both the state park and the tower itself. For more information on the event, visit the
Friends of Hunting Island Lighthouse homepage.
