The Second Annual Pelican Plunge

In case you missed it, more than 200 lunatics went swimming in the waters off Hunting Island State Park on New Year's Day. This is not necessarily a Polar Bear plunge, but, trust me, the wind whips pretty good off the Atlantic this time of year, and water temperatures are in the low 50s. So it's cold.
