On the surface, an office home tour may not seem like the most exciting way to spend an hour or two. But, this morning, the Lowcountry office went on a tour which would make master Lowcountry storyteller Pat Conroy envious. We traversed the back roads of St. Helena Island, before emerging at a waterfront paradise along Wallace Creek.
From there, it was off to Polowana Island, which is surrounded by some of the best deep-water property you'll find on the East Coast. This Jenkins Creek property was one of the most amazing homes you may ever see.
Our last stop was a home overlooking Battery Creek, one of the best waterways in Beaufort.
This little tour personified what is great about Beaufort -- Although the properties shared several qualities -- water access, beautiful trees, waterfront privacy, they were all so different.
If you can, try and imagine a home with a light house jutting from the roof. From the light house, enjoy a 360 degree view of the Lowcountry.
Thanks for visiting.
